Established in 2017 by Australian Born, US National Rugby Player, Alastair McFarland, Hutch and Waldo has become one of the go to Fast Casual breakfast and lunch spots in NYC.

“We are your gathering place for coworkers and friends, where each person who walks through the door is treated like family. With flavor at the forefront, Hutch works with likeminded producers to cultivate the pleasure of eating, paired with design, art, fashion and music.

As the business is growing, so too is the family—our talented and devoted team of culinary and hospitality professionals continues driving the mission forward every day, and our partnerships with some of the best coffee farmers and food artisans in the region, we continue to ensure to provide the tastiest food around while supporting our local food economy.

We endeavor to represent the fresh food community’s values and ethos through our menu and our hospitality style, and every day we do our best to bring a little piece of that feeling into our restaurants to share what makes it so special.

What is Hutch?

Simple food done really well. At Hutch + Waldo we meet an unattended demand in the food market: healthy fast food. Not everyone has enough time to eat chef curated meals and fill up on good energy, so our mission is to provide delicious, natural and nutritious experience quickly, changing the way fast food is perceived. We want to change the way fast food is seen and thought of. This is the main reason why HUTCH + WALDO exists. On your way to work, an escape from your desk, or a quick meeting spot with friends.
